Q. How long has Rehab and Retreat been operating?
A. Since February, 2012.
Q. What are the days and hours of operation?
A. Monday through Friday from 9AM to 4PM and evenings and weekends open upon request, however we are
very flexible, depending on what the client and/or caregiver needs.
Q. Is transportation to and from the senior and adult day centre provided?
A. Yes we provide transportation! With our “heart mobiles” we are happy to offer door-in-door service for our
clients. Our vans operate 7 days a week as a concierge service. Catering to all of your loved ones’ needs,
our class 4 licensed, insured and bonded staff are ready to serve!
Q. Who will attend our day support program?
A. Anyone requiring a supportive, safe and stimulating environment may be accepted. Based on our free intake
assessment, we will determine if our program can meet the needs of the client.
Q. What is the ratio of staff to participants?
A. Our ratio will be one staff to every three participants.
Q. What activities are offered?
A. Any sort of physical or cognitive stimulating activity you can think of! We tailor what we do based on your
loved ones interests and needs. This can include, but isn’t limited to: arts and crafts, musical entertainment
and sing-a-long, mental stimulation games (i.e. trivia), stretching and gentle exercise, discussion groups
(books, films, current events), holiday and birthday celebrations, local outings, baking, gardening, and much
Q. Are meals and snacks included? Are special diets accommodated?
A. A breakfast, hot lunch, and snacks will be provided daily. Special diets will be accommodated.
Q. How much does it cost to attend?
A. The cost of the day program is divided into three membership plans. Our flex, monthly or annual
memberships accommodate for any financial situation. As our membership plans offer many different options
and perks, we recommend getting in touch with one of our staff members to find which membership plan
best suits your needs.
